Deniece L. Case Ray (Tattoo Dee) of Jacksonville/Bunnell Florida passed away on December 3,2023.
Born to parents Ester and George Case on 12/13/50 in Syracuse NY.
Dee owned several biker bars in Jacksonville Fl, the most popular was The Old Rooster Bar in Bayard Fl. She also owned Tattoo Dee’s Jacksonville Fl, Sporty’s and Saddle Tramp in Middleburg Fl.
She was also a volunteer for Daytona North Ministries.
Dee was a motorcycle enthusiast, she loved the beach, boating, gambling and camping. She had a love for Harley Davidson, she loved to ride her bikes. She put together and hosted all kinds of fund raisers and different events at the Rooster. You were always sure to have a great time when you were there! At these events there would be 100’s of bikes and people. Some traveled from distances away just to come and see the Old Rooster Bar and meet Tattoo Dee. She was kind of a celebrity back in the day and one tough lady. She also loved to travel, she traveled with her friends in their RVs across the country. One of her favorite places was Deadwood South Dakota. As she got older and stopped traveling, she enjoyed crafts, painting ceramics and making quilts. She loved and cherished her dogs Pooh Bear and Chewy and they adored her. She loved volunteering for Daytona North Ministries with her dear friend Chris. She also started a group at the ministry to visit those that had to go to rehab and those that were hospitalized. She felt every one of them should have someone to come see them. She also loved some Gordon Ramsay, and other cooking shows although she never tried cooking anything they made but she enjoyed watching it. She loved her family and always looked forward to family get togethers. She was the biggest Pepsi supporter, always had a Pepsi in her hand. She could also make you laugh even on your hardest days.
She will always be remembered as Tattoo Dee. She was wild, funny, sometimes crazy, one of a kind lady. She made friends wherever she went. Her motto was they either like me or they don’t.
Dee is survived by her daughter & son in law Pam and Josh Morgan of Jacksonville Fl, Her Son and daughter in law Rick and Becca Haylor of VA, her grand children Joe (Carrie) Carpenter, Cody Chevalier, Hayden Haylor, Hudson Haylor, Hope Haylor, Devin Bilow, Isabel Sommers and great granddaughter Claire Carpenter.
