Delores "Deedee" Nelson

Delores (DeeDee) Nelson, 38 of Melrose Fl. Passed away on December 8, 2020. Delores was born June 20, 1982 and grew up with handicaps physically and mentally. Her handicaps never slowed her down or held her back. She lived her life to the fullest and touched so many hearts. While growing up she loved to play soccer and baseball with her lifelong friend, Mary Beth Murdock. Delores also loved to talk and interact with everyone she met. Her phone was her prized possession. She always loved to keep in touch with all her friends and family as well. Everyone that knew her will always remember her with her phone. She thought that facetime and being able to see who she was talking to was the best ever!
Delores loved and was loved deeply and we will miss her with all our hearts. Delores is survived by her loving family. Father Wayne Nelson, Mother Paula Nelson, Birth mother Martha B. Nelson, Grandfather MT Nelson, Grandmother Elaine Erickson, Sister Wendy Stewart (Dana Bostick), Sister Angelique Whatley (Wes Whatley), Brother Jeremy Nelson, Sister Heather Culbreth (Thomas Culbreth), Brother Joel Kubicek. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Delores was preceded by her Grandmother Betty Nelson, Sister Lonnie Nelson.
They are having a joyous reunion in Heaven were there are no handicaps and sickness.
The Memorial service for Delores will be notified by personal invitations.
