Debra Ann Wilson

Debra Wilson (Debra Rocheford) 53, a resident of Orange Park, FL., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 22, 2019.

A beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Debra was Born Nov 10, 1965 to Robert Rocheford and Karin Grubl in Landstuhl Germany.

Early in her college years Debra found she had a gift as a problem and puzzle solver - the then new field of IT, especially for women, became a passion. She became an IT specialist by studying and learning on her own-where others found confusion, Debra found her calling. With her knack for technology she was able to parlay her talents into writing training materials, numerous consulting jobs and a business of her own.

Working for SE Grocers (Winn Dixie) since 2000 as a systems engineer,  she led countless others under her compassionate and energizing leadership. She was dedicated and had the highest standards believing in the importance of commitment, dedication and high standards. She thought of her team members as extended family.

One of Debra’s passions was for Toastmasters. Serving in leadership and as a dedicated member of Toastmasters International since 2011, Debra was especially proud of her work within correctional communities, including the New Beginnings Club. Her memory will live on in the members she mentored who called her “mom” Each of those members now free of incarceration have returned to society with Debra’s help.

Debra was multifaceted and enjoyed writing, music, crafting, sewing, and gaming. She loved animals and had many beloved pets throughout her lifetime. She would appreciate your giving your own pet a hug!

In all that Debra has done, she empowered anyone she came in contact with, leading and inspiring everyone in her path to be better versions of themselves, simply by helping them to discover and tap into their own potential.

Survivors include: Dad, Robert Rocheford (Marie) Middleburg FL, Sister Jackie Sullivan (Billy) Nokomis FL,  Niece Nichole Buhring (Jon) Orlando and Nephew Michael Williams (Emilee) Ocean Springs MS.

Predeceased: Debra may now join her Mother (Karin Rocheford) who awaits her with open arms in Heaven.

Funeral Services will be held at Saturday, May 4 ^th , 2019, at 11:00 a.m. inside River Christian Church, 515 College Drive, Middleburg, FL 32068. Celebration of Life will begin promptly following services, at 12:00PM, in the gathering hall located within the church.
