From late night to early morning mist, though held close in her husband's loving embrace, Debbie Henry drifted off into the soft sunrise and the waiting arms of her LORD and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST.
Debbie became a Citizen of Heaven on Thursday - 22 October 2020 and is now running barefoot through Heaven's four- leaf clover with her younger sister Jill Karen (Petry) Schellenbarg (32) who went to Heaven in November 1988.
Debra Sue (Petry) Henry, daughter of Walter F. Petry (94) and Mary L. (Bittinger) Petry (90), was born 21 May 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio.
Debbie claimed the right to start her birthdays over since second Grandson Remington (15) stole her birthday in 2005.
Debbie was either 67, or 15-years old, whenever and whatever she chose to her advantage for that moment.
In an omage to her oldest Grandson "Quaid" (16), Debbie's favorite t-shirt said "The Only Thing Tougher Than A Football Player Is His Grandma !!!"
....Debbie stubbornly fought her cancer for one full year.
Debbie and Jill are waiting on their parents Walter F. (94) and Mary L. Petry (90) to come keep them company some years down the road.
Engaged on their 6th date, way back in 1973, Debbie is probably negotiating on behalf of William (Bill) A. Henry (68), her husband, with whom she was bound to a life-long contract on 12 July 1974, by Uncle Marion L. Petry, at the Church of The Brethren in Hamilton, Ohio.....one exact year after their engagement.
Debbie and Bill had four children who blessed them with eleven grandchildren, that they love most dearly.....
Jacob A. Henry, wife Amanda and two grandchildren Levi and Addison.
Matthew A. Henry, wife Wendy and five grandsons Remington, Coleman, Chase, Aiden and Alex.
Rebecca Sue (Henry) Tippit, husband Danny and three grandchildren Daniel (Quaid), Anna and Gracie.
Nathanael A. Henry and grandson Joseph Connor.
....Debbie glowed when around her children and grandchildren.
Aunt Shirley Petry, Aunt Annie Block, David Block and Barbara Block- Distlehorst will be keeping tabs on Debbie's surviving parents along with their close neighbors Dennis & Diane Ramsey.
Jill's husband, Harold Earl Schellenbarg and married children.....
