Daniel "Danny" James Walton

Daniel “Danny” James Walton, age 34, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, passed away in the early morning hours of November 12, 2018 in a motorcycle accident in Yulee. He is preceded in death by his mother Janine (McCullough) Walton (June 2017).

Danny enjoyed riding his motorcycle, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. Some of his favorite times were spent with his second family at the American Legion Post 9 and participating in charity rides alongside his father, as a proud son of a veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Maryanne and Alexis Walton; father Dennis “Wally” Walton; twin brother Donald Walton; sisters Kim (David) Parker and Kelly (Joey) Burch; nieces: Ashley Dukes, Lauryn & Abigail Parker, Chloe Walton; nephews: Travis Smith and Jayden Strode; 2 great-nieces: Lanay & Elaina Smalley; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Danny’s Celebration of Life on December 8 ^th , 2018 at American Legion Post 9, 6242 Old Soutel Court, 32219, from 2-6 pm.

Memorial donations in Danny’s honor, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Legion Post 9. Donations can be made in person, by check or money order through the mail, or through their GoFundMe page. Danny was among many members who helped cleaned up after the fire and set up the new facility. Post 9 was Danny’s 2 ^nd home.
