Dan J. Kleinrock, 95, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away on December 9, 2022. Husband of 68 years to Gloria Kleinrock, who passed away in 2018. Loving father to Daniel John Kleinrock, his wife Kim and David Anthony Kleinrock. Grandfather to Matt Kleinrock, his wife Taylor, Samantha Kleinrock Cummings, her husband Chuck, Kelsy Shea-Dodd and her husband Jason, Amy Kleinrock Forik, her husband Justin (Jace),. Great-Grandfather to McKenna Kleinrock, Charlie Cummings, Payton Kleinrock, Cliff Cummings, Bowman Dodd, Ryder Kleinrock and Brooks Dodd. Brother to Dolores Duplak, deceased 2019. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dan was born in Pittston, Pa. His family relocated to Paterson, NJ in 1942, where he met his future wife, Gloria Garofano in Italian class. He graduated from Eastside High School in 1945. Enlisted in the US Navy in November, 1945. After boot camp and training served aboard the USS Stribling DD867 as a fire control technician until November, 1947. Married Gloria Garofano in 1950. Was recalled to service during the Korean War in 1951 and spent 16 months total with service as a fire control technician aboard the USS Conway. Worked as a District Manager for Screw Conveyor Corporation of Hammond, IN until starting his own industrial distribution business, Richards Company in 1964. He enjoyed family, music, dancing, the USS Conway Reunions, and socializing with his many friends at Brookdale- Southside, an independent living community where he spent his later years.

Memorial services will be held on dates to be announced at Brookdale-Southside and in New Jersey at a venue to be named later. Entombment of his remains next to his wife at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson.
