Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Bellinger Smith

Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Bellinger Smith, 65 of Jacksonville Fl; Passed away Monday February 14, 2022. Cindy Smith was born on November 15, 1956, to Theron and Marilyn Bellinger in Amsterdam, N.Y.

After graduating from Canajoharie High School in 1974, Cindy later relocated to Marion County, Florida in 1980 where she met Phillip Hooker. They were married in 1984. Together Cindy and Phillip welcomed two children, Stephanie R Hooker (1985) and Phillip V Hooker II (1990).

Cindy later remarried James (Hoss) G Smith in 2007 and relocated to Jacksonville, Fl in 2010 to continue her career. Cindy was a talented and well renowned Mortgage Underwriter for over 35 years.

Cindy loved going to the beach, lounging by her pool and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her children Stephanie Hooker (Will), Jacksonville, Fl. Phillip Hooker (Kailey), Lake Charles, LA. Her sisters Debbie Christman (Barry), Fort Plain, NY. Amy Lawton (David) Gloversville, NY. Granddaughter Madison Thomas, Jacksonville, Fl. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cindy is predeceased by her husband James (Hoss) G Smith. Her parents Theron R Bellinger and Marilyn J Bellinger. Brother-in-law David Lawton.
