Cynthia “JoJo” Miller passed away on September 24, 2022 after a valiant fight against ovarian cancer. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to incredible parents Radford And Ruby Etoile Brown on September 21, 1947. She had a life full of adventure, starting with an avid love of travel at a young age that blossomed into a long career as an Executive Travel Counselor for American Express. She reinvented herself many times and each time found success. She was ahead of her time in opening Rose Creek Cafe, a modern cuisine restaurant in the 1980’s in Jacksonville.
Cynthia was a true free spirit with a beautiful heart. She was a romantic and a dreamer, finding joy in the smallest things. She loved nature and art and spending time in her garden. She adored her husband Terry and their two dogs Bo and Jack deeply. They were her most loyal companions and the sweetest little friends that brought her so much happiness.
She is survived by her husband Terry, her three children Zacharey Coleman (Brandy), Mavity Freeland (Brian), Lee Utley (Colleen); grandchildren Alexis, Ethan, Michael and Radford; three stepchildren; Lee Miller (Angie); Megan Scott (Darren), Troy (Jennifer); Step-grandchildren Maggie, Anthony, Troy Jr., Taylor, Isabel and Malorie. Sisters Debbie Barnes and Judy Brown, nieces and nephews Cooper, Cadie, Robert, Lauren, Wil and Olivia and many lifelong friends.
