Christopher J. Varnes

Christopher “Chris” J. Varnes, 37, passed away July 11, 2024, at Community Hospice’s Douglas Center, Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida. Chris was born May 4, 1987, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Van Varnes. He is survived by his mother Greta Masters, his brother Ron Varnes, three nieces whom he loved, many friends and his beloved dog, Brownie.

Chris graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and worked as a meat cutter. He loved his dog Brownie and going to car shows, especially for Mustangs. Chris was a teddy bear and could make you laugh.
