Christopher Dale Osborne

March 30, 1975 — January 31, 2025

Chris passed on January 31, 2025, surrounded by loving family and friends after a brief illness. He was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Florida.

He was born to Arnold (Buddy) and Carol Osborne, he is survived by his loving daughter, Ava Grace Osborne, his former wife, Stacey Alford (Jesse), three brothers - Butch (Tracy), Eric (Kimberly), Brad (Teresa), one sister - Tiffany Barton (Bart), and many nieces and nephews.

Chris believed that the greatest legacy he could leave to this world would be his daughter, Ava. He was always so proud of her many accomplishments.

Chris was loved by many and was taken from us far too soon at the age of 49. He will be remembered as a loving, kind friend to all who knew him. He was a car enthusiast, talented artist, loved documentaries, enjoyed nature (especially the beach collecting shark teeth), and an avid fan of horror movies. Chris loved sports including skateboarding, baseball, and basketball with his childhood friends while growing up in the Northside area. His favorite football teams were the Florida State Seminoles and Jacksonville Jaguars.

When facing the greatest fight of his life, Chris approached his illness with courage, determination, and dignity. Family and friends were with him night and day offering support and comfort until the end.

He is no longer in pain, and we all feel his spirit soaring above us giving us strength to carry on and now remember the happier times we spent with him. Never to be forgotten, a part of who Chris was will always stay tucked away in our hearts.

A memorial/celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Chris’ name to your favorite charity, Community Hospice, or any organization in support of Hemophilia or Cancer would be an honor to his memory.
