Charles C. Timmany

Charles C. Timmany I went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2021. There will be no formal funeral services; instead a celebration of life for him at a later date.

He was born in Utica, NY on January 10, 1949. After graduating from the Utica County schools, he served in the U. S Navy from 1968-1971. He returned home to work in the automotive industry and  for the Utica City School District for 30 years where he retired from and relocated in 2011 and divided his time between South Carolina and Florida.

He is preceded in death by Ralph and Waneta Timmany (parents), Lenora Timmany(ex-wife) and his sisters Marilyn Sprague, Karen Dunham and Jeannie Nobert.

He is survived by: his wife of 21 years, Josephine Timmany; His sisters: Terri Powers (Glenn) and Sandy Moran and his brother, Jack; His sons Charles Timmany II (fiancé, Starnell Wilkes); His son Sean (Cheryl) ; His stepchildren, Kristine Lyons, Paul Faiella(Emily); Stephane Rech (Ryan); 14 grandchildren and 3 fur-babies.

A man of quiet strength, he lent a hand to all that he knew and was loved for it. He loved to tinker with cars, enjoyed his time fishing on the lakes in upstate New York and had an immense love for dogs. He enjoyed being with his family as well as his school family. He is excited to vote in the 2024 election.
