Charles Walker Rogers, Jr.

Charles “Chucky” Walker Rogers, Jr. passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 77.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Walker Rogers, Sr. and Beverly Nalle Rogers along with his daughter, Adrienne Elizabeth Rogers.

Chucky is survived by his cherished wife of 53 years, Carol Whittaker Rogers; his sister, Linda Rogers Paschal (Bo), her daughter, Ashley (Dan) and his daughter, Leigh Rogers Trigg (Tom); as well as many his beloved grandsons, Nicholas and Joshua Trigg.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Daniel Maser and his son, Christopher.

Chucky was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville.  After high School, Chucky served in the United States Navy and after graduating from Georgia State he returned to the Jacksonville community and became a Real Estate Broker and business owner.

More than anything, Chucky was a kind man who loved his family and supported them in their many pursuits and endeavors.  He was a good friend to many.

Chucky was a lifelong Episcopalian and his service will be at San Jose Episcopal Church on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:00am.
