Carolene Loyd

Carolene (Duncan) Loyd, 82, of Orange Park Florida passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 in Orange Park. She was born in Greenup County Kentucky, March. 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Calvin Duncan and Luverna (Griffith) Duncan. She loved her family. In her retirement, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking, reading, watching TV, and entertained many daydreams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Greathouse and a daughter, Brenda. (Greathouse) Roszak. Two brothers -Wayne Duncan and Allen Duncan and one sister, Bethel (Duncan) Stephens also preceded her. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Tony and Kandi (Carmel) Florio of Orange Park Florida , a son, Derek (Rick) Carmel of Jacksonville Florida, brothers - Lowell (Alice) Duncan of Lawrenceville Georgia, and Daryl (Penny) Duncan of Troy Ohio, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the discretion of the family.
