Carl J. Gabler

Carl J. Gabler, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024.  He was born October 24, 1942 to Charles & Mary Gabler in McKees Rocks, PA where he was raised. After graduating from high school, he attended Duquesne University.

Carl moved to Florida where he worked for many years in retail as the gift shop manager of Methodist Hospital.  It was here where he started collecting artwork, sculptures, and collectibles.

He moved to Memphis, TN for a period of time, and then back home to McKees Rocks to care for his mother.  He also had a passion for flowers & co-owned a florist with his sister & brother-in-law back in his home state of PA.

Even after retirement Carl was busy with making artificial floral arrangements & would sell them at local craft fairs.

Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his nieces Pamela & Shelly & his nephew Bobby.

He is survived by his two sisters Marian Miske & Barbara Hise.  He is also survived by his nieces Jessica Grispino (Tommy), Deborah Campana (Tony) & nephew Curt Miske (Rita), along with several great & great-great nieces & nephews.
