Bruce Bertolette Hardman

Peacefully at home, Bruce was received into the arms of his Lord and Savior after a long illness.

He leaves to mourn his passing, wife Bonnie, children David (Lauren), Daniel, and Jodie (Scott), and grandsons John David, Caiden, Christopher, Brayden, Brady and Ethan. Also nephew George III, niece Nina, their families, and other cousins and relatives. Predeceased by parents George and Maude, and beloved brother George Jr. and sister-in-law Marilyn.

Bruce will be remembered for his love of gardening and classical music, studying history and religion, long phone chats with favorite friends and relatives, and the dedication and work ethic he brought to his career in chemistry and quality & regulatory affairs at GE in Waterford NY (25 years), Harris Specialty Chemicals in Gainesville and Jacksonville FL (9 years) and TCI Powder Coatings in Jacksonville (18 years). But most of all he loved his family and when asked for help or advice in times of trouble, proudly admitted, " Family comes first, and I play favorites ."

We miss you, Bruce. Rest in peace.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 4th at 2:00 PM at St. John's Cathedral, 256 E Church Street,

Jacksonville, Florida. Short prayer service followed by a celebration/ reception in Taliaferro Hall.

Interment at a later date, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
