Brian H. Spurling

Brian Hurshal Spurling (59) of Jacksonville, FL made his transition to be with the Lord on January 4th 2024. He gave his heart to the Lord completely and now rests in His precious arms of comfort and peace. Brian also known as “Bo” was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on January 8th 1964. His passions were adventures, hunting with a recurve bow, boating, fishing, camping, horseback riding, planting anything that will grow,  being outdoors, and working hard for a living. He loved his family deeply and would fiercely defend and protect them. His heart was always full of love, joy, and life.

Bo was preceded in death by his father, Donald Dexter Spurling, and his son, Jesse Dexter Spurling, “Jesse Balboa”. Bo pre-deceased his loving mother Sherry Ann Spurling, who resides in Jacksonville, Florida. With help from immediate family, she cared for him until he transitioned to be with Jesus. Bo is survived by his children Raime (Spurling) Stewart, Amberlee “Hambum” (Spurling) Robinson, Ashley “Turtle” Spurling, & Hunter Spurling (Luke Shepherd). He is also survived by his four sisters: Debra Chauvin, Dawn Hand (Fluffy), Tina Spurling (Beanie), and April Knehr (Purr Purr). He left many nieces and nephews who he adored.
