Brian Benton Mace

Brian Benton Mace of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 15, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was born to Luther Ellis Mace and Hilda Mace, Coher, Bittof on September 9, 1957.

He worked in the industrial warehousing field, specializing in shipping and selling of equipment to the tire industry.

Brian graduated from Kenmore High School, Akron, Ohio in 1976. He had been living in Jacksonville, FL since November 2024. He became ill almost immediately after arriving in Jacksonville.

His greatest passion was Motorcycling. He was an avid rider, watched the races and attended all that he could. Music was also a love of his, he attended many, many concerts throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther “Ellis” Mace and Hilda Bittof, both of whom were residing in Jacksonville, FL.

He is survived by his sister Wanda Visher (Gary), brother Bruce Ellis Mace of Akron, OH., nephew Benjamin E. Visher (Nicole) of Jacksonville, FL and countless family and friends in Akron, Ohio.

He will be greatly missed. Losing Brian leaves a hole in our hearts!
