Arthur Ettlinger, 90, of Jacksonville, Florida passed peacefully on Father’s Day surrounded by his children. He was born July 26, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict after which he and his brother relocated to Jacksonville. Art was an avid tennis player and enjoyed bowling. He owned and operated bowling centers in the area for 58 years before his retirement. He was a quiet, kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters Ellen Haimowitz, Lynne (Carl) Blow, Grace (Mark) Blackwell, Paige (Ben) Hakimian and his sons Bill (Rebecca) Ettlinger, Clark (Beshka) Hoshall, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
