Annie Cole

Annie Cole, nee Annie Raitt, 88, passed away September 2, 2022 while in Community Hospice at Baptist South Hospital.

She leaves her daughters Linda Cole, Cathy Cole and Susanne Navarro and husband Chris Navarro; her four granddaughters; and close friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Irving Cole and her brother Edward Raitt.

Ann was born and raised in Northern New Jersey, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Raitt.  After High School, she worked as a bank teller before catching the eye of the love of her life while at a friend’s wedding.  She dedicated her time to raising her 3 daughters which included a lengthy stint as Girl Scout leader and was always a loving wife and mother.  She loved tennis, skiing, boating and cruising, and became an avid golfer in retirement.

After moving from New Jersey, she and Irv spent time between New London, NH and Sarasota, FL.  She has missed him terribly since his passing in 2016….they will finally be together again.

She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
