Angela Darlene Williams

Angela Darlene Williams passed away on October 7, 2019, after her fight with lung cancer; she was 59 years old. Angela was born in Danville, Illinois. She lived in Philadelphia, PA for many years before moving to Jacksonville, FL.

She is survived by her brothers Paul and Stacy Donaldson and sisters Monica Monte and Lisa Williams. She has several nieces and nephews including Yvonne Colton, Brittany Voll, Miguel Donaldson and Devon, Dre’von, DiYeir, Deylon, Bryce and Alex Williams. She also had several cousins, aunts, and uncles; including Connie Leavell, and Bonnie and Roger Anderson.

Angela had a strong connection with her church family at The Church At Argyle. The church members have shown great kindness and friendship to Angela. Additionally, Tom Survis and Cynthia Gibbs shared a close bond with Angela.

Her name was appropriately meant to convey Angel-Darling. As the oldest child, growing up Angela was a loving and protective big sister. She overcame a lot of personal challenges in childhood to become the caring, trusted, funny, and smart woman we all knew her to be.

Service will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:45 am at The Church At Argyle 6823 Argyle Forest Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her church or to the American Lung Association.
