Allen Francis Mastridge

Allen Francis Mastridge, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at Community Hospice on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

He was born to Ethel and Francis Mastridge in Queens, NY on July 26, 1941. Allen continued to reside in New York, and it was there that he met his loving and devoted wife, Janet Frances Mastridge (nee Nolan) in 1959. He married Janet on September 29, 1962, and in 1969, they moved to New Jersey where they raised their two children. Allen was happily married to Janet for 61 years at the time of her passing.

Allen attended The State University of New York in Farmingdale, NY and graduated in 1962.

Before retiring to Jacksonville in 2003, Allen worked in a variety of positions, including private investigator, restaurateur, salesman and limousine driver.

Allen loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports and traveling, especially to casinos and going on cruises.

He was preceded in death by his wife Janet, his parents, Ethel Filippelli and Francis Mastridge, and his siblings Francis Mastridge and Susan Hendricks. He is survived by a son, James Mastridge; and a daughter, Elizabeth Mastridge, both of New Jersey; as well as his siblings, Kevin Mastridge (Karyn) of New York, and Anthony Filippelli (Delana) of Nevada; and many nieces and nephews, and other extended family, all of whom he loved dearly.

Cremation will be private.
