Alexandra "Alice" Gerlosky

Alexandra "Alice" Gerlosky, age 96
Passed away Jan 1, 2022.  She was born April 1925 in
Europe, living in France for most of her youth. She married a
US serviceman at the end of WWII. She is survived by her
sons Michael Gerlosky, Tom Gerlosky, and daughter Barbara
Gerlosky Moody plus grandchildren Michelle Gerlosky
Schiffler, Greg Gerlosky, and four great grandchildren,
Marlena Schiffler, Annelies Schiffler, Chloe Gerlosky, &
Dayna Gerlosky.

Alice worked for Walt Disney World Co. in Orlando for over
24 years before retiring and moving to Jacksonville to live
with her daughter and son Tom. She was especially known
for her longtime ballroom dancing in Orlando and
Jacksonville.

Alice requested to be cremated with her cremains going to
her daughter for a private casting ceremony. There will not
be a public local viewing or service. Her family will gather for
a private memorial service in the near future.

Alice was unique, once a DMV officer looked her over and
asked "So you're 83 huh?" Shaking her head no, she
quipped, oh no-absolutely not, I'm 82 for 5 more days!
