Aiden Bing Kramer

July 5, 2008 — July 2, 2023

Aiden Bing Kramer, age 14 went to be with Jesus on July 2, 2023.  He had been in hospice care for the last two months of his life and died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family. Aiden was adopted at age 2 from China and lived in St. Johns, Florida. He is survived by his parents Matthew and Melissa Kramer, and beloved siblings Tyler, Brooke and Gabe Kramer.  Aiden is also survived by both sets of grandparents: John and Beverly Burke and Marc and Lynn Kramer.

Aiden was born deaf and diagnosed with autism at age 3.  He struggled with many medical challenges throughout his short life, including having a large inoperable brain tumor and losing his vision at age 12.  Even with all his challenges, Aiden was full of light and laughter, joyful and funny.  He loved to be cuddled and tickled, to play chase with the family dogs, and run around laughing with his siblings and friends. He loved climbing in his tree house, swinging and catching frogs in the backyard; he loved light up toys, pop its, and anything that could be tinkered with.  He loved watching YouTube videos of people on rollercoasters, water slides, and every video that had bright colors.  Aiden loved life.

Aiden was the catalyst for, and inaugural student at, Growing Together Behavioral Center, a school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.  Growing Together was established in August 2018 by his parents, Matthew and Melissa with the purpose of providing a nurturing environment for Aiden and those who share his unique journey.

Aiden loved life, never held a grudge and always found a way to show love to his people. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, teachers and classmates, as well as many across the world who followed his journey through social media.  Aiden's profound impact will forever resonate through the ongoing work and mission of Growing Together, ensuring his legacy remains an integral part of the journey.

Matt and Melissa Kramer want to thank Community PedsCare of Jacksonville for their incredible support during Aiden’s end of life care, and Angels of Care Jacksonville for their phenomenal nursing care.  Both amazing programs made this journey more bearable, and helped keep Aiden comfortable, safe and calm in his last days.

A Celebration of Life will occur at The Church of Eleven22 Mandarin Campus, 4911 Losco Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 5:30 pm. Childcare will be available for those in need and we will have ASL interpreters. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Aiden’s name to Growing Together Behavioral Center (GTBC).  GTBC has set up a special donation link on their website at www.gtbjax.org or through paypal  at paypal.me/GTBJAX .
