Richard Hartford Brodeur, Sr.

Richard Hartford Brodeur, Sr. “Dick” died December 5, 2010, after a brief illness. Born September 30, 1928, in Jacksonville, FL, he lived all of his life in this area except for college at the University of Notre Dame and his service in the Army.
A born salesman and worker, Dick spent over 50 years in the food brokerage business. He was happily married to Margaret Conlon for 47 years and later established a great friendship with Rosemary Paul.
His priorities were faith, family, and friends coupled with the “Fighting Irish” and the YMCA.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Brodeur Reilly, and a son, Rick Brodeur (Susan); His grandchildren: Elizabeth Reilly; Ford, Patrick, and Bryant Brodeur; His brothers Bob Brodeur (Carmel), Jim Brodeur (Betty Jean), sister Rose Marie Bush (Bernard); sister-in-law Carol Domville (Tom) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Both the Rosary Service on Monday December 13th at 7pm and the Funeral Mass on Tuesday December 14th at 11am will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church 2609 Park St. Jacksonville, FL (Riverside)
