Richard O. Bryan, Sr.

Richard O. Bryan, Sr., 72, died November 8, 2010 at home after a long illness. He was the son of the late Charles J. Bryan (whom he shared his birthday with) and the former Edith Hilderland. He faced death with courage and faith in Jehovah God’s promise of a resurrection to a paradise right here on earth. (Psalms 37: 10, 11, 29; Luke 23: 39-43) Due to the loving help of Hospice, he fell asleep in death with his family in attendance. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margie Bryan-who for now has lost the love of her life; 2 sons: Richard O. Bryan, Jr.-our first born son (and his beautiful wife Debbie) who were always there for us, and Michael C. Bryan (and his partner Roberto Tejada)...Michael our youngest son, never left his dad's side during his long illness along with Michelle Charlton who is like our beloved daughter; and 2 sisters: Barbara Dinkins (husband, Danny, who was beloved by Richard as a brother and best friend) and Debra Dodd (husband, Fred, who came and cooked a feast for the family.) His faith was an inspiration to all who knew him. We all look forward to the time we will be re-united in God’s system. His favorite scripture was Revelation 21: 3-5. Here we have Jehovah’s promise of a time when “Death will be no more.”
