Martha Mackesy Cox

Martha Mackesy Cox, 71, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Friday, October 29, 2010. She was born to Wilbur and Ethel Peacock on January 5, 1939 in Plant City, FL. She was a devoted wife and mother and an avid Florida Gator fan. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Raymond Patton Cox. Survivors include her son, Frank (Patti) Mackesy; 2 daughters, Debbie (Ronnie) Petti and Sherri Mackesy; step-children: Steve Cox, Devine Monty, Kathy Fowler, and Mary Beth Cox; a sister, Sandy (Keith) Atkisson; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service officiated by Pastors Kevin Hale and Mark McGaughey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010 at East Pointe Church, 270 N.
