Alan Foody

Alan M. Foody, 56, passed from this life on September 8th after a lengthy illness.
A longtime local resident, Alan graduated Bishop Kenny in 1972 and UF in 1976. He was graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1980 and the Florida Bar in 1983. Alan entered private practice in 1985 with Noe, Eakin, & Foody. He retired from the Law in 2006.
Preceded in death by his father, Tom and brother, Jim, Alan is survived by Christie Wood Foody; his mother, Lorraine; brother, Michael (Marilyn); niece, Rachael, and his deeply cherished friends. The family remembers those friends and Dr Stephen Grable and staff for their kindnesses to and wonderful support of him. He truly loved you all and carried each of you as a blessing in his heart.
A memorial service in celebration of Alan’s life will be held Monday September 20th, at 2 PM at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL with Father William Kelly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan’s memory may be made to St Paul’s Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach, FL or to the charity of your choice.
