Thomas Nicholas Pappas

Tom Pappas passed away peacefully at his Arlington home on September 2, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary. His surviving children are son Michael, his wife Monique, grandchildren, Derek, Alexandria and Michael Thomas; and daughter Nicole, her husband George, and grandchildren, Gabrielle and Lilly; his sister Margaret Robinson and many nieces and nephews. Born in Newark NJ, Mr. Pappas made Jacksonville his home after serving here in the U.S. Navy. He spent his career as a professional sales representative and later worked in the restaurant business – two pursuits he enjoyed wholeheartedly. He was a family man through and through and was always there to help a friend in need. He will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service and internment will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
