Mary Day Kelley

Mary Day Kelley, 86 went to heaven July 29, 2010

She was preceded in death by her mother Myrtis Lammons, step father Luther Lammons, father Henry Day, sister Caroline Stalder, and her beloved son-in-law Wesley Burbank.

Her greatest loves were her faith in God and her family.

She is survived by three loving daughters, Pamela Kelley, Susan Shee (Scott) and Sharon Barkoskie (Richard).

Also mourning the loss of their Nana are her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was born January 4, 1924 in Perry, Florida and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School 1942.

She worked many years in the Duval County School System and in 1969 went to work at Jacksonville University where she retired in 1996 after 27 years as a well known and loved employee.

Memorial services will be held at her church, Highlands United Presbyterian Church, where Mary has been one of the charter members since 1964. 10900 McCormick Road Saturday August 7th at 11 am. Reception will follow.
