Capt. Clemens Stefan Brandl, 81, passed away at home on March 27, 2010 surrounded by his family and a loving friend. Clemens was born in Graz, Austria on January 23, 1929. He is survived by his devoted and loving Wife of 40 years, the Love of his Life Alexandra Brandl, his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Stefanie and Eric Kratz, his Son and Daughter-in-Law, Robin and Christy Brandl, his Son and Daughter-in-Law, Trevor and Jessi Brandl, Granddaughters Ashley Brandl and Eden Brandl; Devoted Friends, Ursula Koschnick, Kevin Green, and The Kurtz Family. He was a Veteran of WWII, and traveled extensively throughout the world, before settling in South Florida & the Caribbean where he based his Maritime Businesses. In 1983, he moved his family to Northeast Florida, where he remained until his death. Clemens enjoyed fishing, watching football and cooking for his family most. He was a tireless worker, a successful businessman, a loyal and loving Father, and a devoted Husband. Clemens was an amazing man who was well respected by everyone who met him. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17, Fleming Island at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida or Dreams Come True Foundation.
