Nona Gail Johnson

Nona Gail Johnson, a computer specialist of the US Government and an alumni of Howard University. Daughter of Dr. Joseph Johnson passed in a local hospital March 3, 2010. A mass of the resurrection will be held in her memory at St. Pius Catholic Church Saturday, March 20, at 11 am. Rosary recited at 10:45 am. Father Calistus Onwere assisted by other priest officiating. Survivors: daughter Jennifer Johnson, cousins Mary E. Coleman, Mrs. Karen C. Jones, Mrs. Phyliss Mack, Dr. Joseph and Dr. Dorothy S. Johnson of Matthew, North Carolina, Miss Norma Littlejohn, Mrs. Lucile Littlejohn Murphy, Isadore Singleton, Mary Kitzer, Lucile Johnson, Luvenia Cooper, Charles Johnson, Shantell Webb, Tampa, Florida, godnieces Carolyn C. Hunter, R'nee Martin, Angelita Perkins, Felicia Bailey, close friend Inez Brooks, Raleigh, NC, and the Matthew W. Gilbert, Class of 1969. The precession will leave from 1810 West 27 St. by 9:30 am. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
