Merle Kenneth “Ken” Lendon

A soul that was once lost has now been returned home and is at peace for all eternity. Ken Lendon, 58, left this life on January 13, 2010. He was born on January 1, 1952 in Ogden, Utah to parents, Merle Glen and Elizabeth Lendon of Warner Robins, GA. He was a Major in the USAF before taking a job with SSDS in Ohio as a systems/telecommunications specialist.
Ken will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his four daughters and one son-in-law: Kristy Lendon of Jacksonville, Florida; Laurie and Ricky Martin of Cross Lanes, WV; Mindy Lendon of Charleston, WV; and Patty Lendon of Cross Lanes, WV. In addition, Ken was a grandfather of three to Christopher and Jamie Lendon of Jacksonville, FL; and Julie Martin of Cross Lanes, WV. Ken was the oldest of four children – his two brothers, Dave (Phyllis) Lendon of Tupelo, MS and Jeff (Becky) Lendon of Warner Robins, GA, and his sister, Cheryl (Tony) Fowler of Warner Robins, GA. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces and other family members.
Ken’s final wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread over mountains and a calm stream, so that he may be at peace forever. Dad, may you now know how much you are truly loved and how much you will be missed. We love you!
