John Blair

John Blair, 84, passed away on Sunday October 18 after a valiant four and a half year battle with cancer. Born in Scotland and relocated with his family to New York at age 4. He served in the Navy as a radioman during W.W.II, and then attended Bradley University where he met his wife of sixty years Gladys. He served in the Air Force for 22 years as Fighter Pilot through the Vietnam War. Upon retiring form Active Duty Service John worked with Civil Service for 20 years writing Technical Publication Manuals for the Navy. He enjoyed his retired years serving Faith Presbyterian Church as Clerk of Session, choir member, wood worker, spending time with his wife, four children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church, Cape Coral, FL on Sunday November 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Faith Presbyterian Building Fund.
