Cline Leon McLane was born on May 3, 1928 in Punta Gorda, Fl. He passed away on April 30, 2017. He was married to Alma Jean Witt for 67 years. Together, they had one daughter, Sheilah Ryan, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Cline was an alumni of the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Design. He served as an Aerial Photographer for the U.S. Marine Corps for two years during the Korean War. Upon his return home, he held a career in banking for 30 years.
Cline maintained his love for photography, carrying a camera with him almost all the time, documenting their life on the lake and frequent trips to Asheville, NC. He loved hunting, fishing, and could throw a cast net like a professional. His BBQ ribs and milkshakes were legendary.
A memorial service will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road at 09:30 Monday, May 8th, 2017.
