Sara Parker Coite

COITE Sara Hall, 79 passed after a lengthy illness on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at
St.Vincent’s Hospice. Mrs. Coite was born to parents Eugene and Penelope Hall on June 15,
1937 in Burgaw, NC. She moved to Jacksonville in the late 1950’s. She was a the owner
Sara’s Cleaning Service before retiring and enjoying life with her late husband Robert Coite.
She loved working so much that she returned to work at Orange Park Kennel Club, where she
enjoyed many new friends and patrons. She retired again at age 74. Sara enjoyed traveling,
camping and fishing. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and an incredible grandmother
and great grandmother. She loved her cat April as well. Sara was preceded in death by her
husband Robert Coite, parents Eugene and Penelope Hall, and siblings Mary Ennis, Homer Hall
and Whitfield Hall. She is survived by her three Daughters, Karessa Davenport, Susan Parker
Burgess (John), and Cindy Hancock (Dan), 4 Grandchildren John Tucker(Meredith), Michael
McKenna(Jenna), Hannah Hancock, Daniel Hancock, and 4 Great Grandchildren Michella
McKenna, Levy Tucker, Sadie Tucker and Chloe Tucker. In honoring Sara’s wishes, there will
be a private family memorial at the home of Dan and Cindy Hancock on Saturday, September
10, 2016 at 11am. The family asks in lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her name to
Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
