Nancy Lockwood Forbes

Nancy Lockwood Forbes went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 29, 2016. Nancy was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She later moved to St. Johns, FL. Nancy attended Wolfson High School, Sante Fe College and UNF.

She was predeceased by her husband of thirty years, Mike and her father, Jack R. Lockwood Sr. Nancy is survived by her mother, Grace Price Lockwood, her brother, Randy and sister, Julie Alexander (Tyrone), nephews Tyler Alexander (Andrea), Troy Alexander, Trad Alexander (Alix), Luke Lockwood, Jake Lockwood, and her niece, Holly Lockwood Wozniak (Matt), cousins Robbie Lockwood Rodgers (Bob), Gary Lockwood and Keith Reed, and Goddaughter Nicole Gardner La Pointe.

Nancy was kind and loving to all. She enjoyed her puppies, music, singing, and shopping. In life, Nancy worked in software support for Sungard Data Systems. In her last years, Nancy experienced kidney failure, which finally took her life. We know she suffers no more, and is singing and dancing with those that went to heaven before her.

There will be a private family service for Nancy. Contributions can be made to any animal shelter or Hospice.

The family would like to thank the loving attendants at the Legacy of St. Johns, Fresenius Dialysis and of course Community Hospice. They made her last weeks very comfortable.
