Thomas Glenn Grant

Thomas Glenn Grant, age 48, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, GA on March 26, 1968 to Thomas Luther and Carolyn Joyce Grant. He was a University of Georgia graduate. His current employment was at the Florida Times-Union as a media consultant.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Florence Dallas (Gray) and Leslie Jennings Bryan, Norma Pauline (Pittman) and James Luther Grant; father, Thomas Luther Grant; uncles, Leslie Leon Bryan and Raleigh Pressley Grant; and cousin, Keith Grant.

Glenn is survived by his son, William Conner Grant; mother, Carolyn Joyce Grant; brother, Thomas Wade Grant; nieces and nephews, Morgan Alyssa Grant and (twins) Ryan Jordan and Taylor Andrew Grant; aunts and uncles, Kerry and Nancy Bryan, Betty Bryan, Mary Lynn Grant, Michael and Sherry Grant; and numerous cousins.

We honored Glenn’s wishes to be cremated and ashes scattered over the ocean. No services are planned.

As his father, he loved the beach and calming waters of the ocean.
