Rene Mathis Perrella

Rene (Mathis) Perrella passed away on July 26th, 2016 at the age of 53 in Jacksonville, FL. She was the daughter of James and Eleanor Mathis and wife to Chris Perrella. Rene worked as a Deputy Clerk for the Clerk of Courts. She was a member of Creekside Christian Community Church, loved riding her motorcycle, and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren the most. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. Rene was preceded by her sister Margaret Burger, father James A. Mathis, and mother Eleanor Palmer. Rene is survived by her husband Chris, children Clint, Josh (Mechelle), Alexis, Cassie, Mason, and Parker, brothers Jeff (Patti), Butch (Wanda), and sister Nancy (Jerry) and her grandbabies Skyler and Tristan. There will be a memorial to celebrate the life of Rene Perrella on Wednesday, August 3rd at One Ocean Resort from 6-10pm. Prior to the service, a motorcycle ride will start at Dick’s Wings on 6055 Youngerman Circle at 5pm and we will ride with Rene to One Ocean Resort.
