Johnathon Ashley Hall

August 31, 1978 — April 27, 2016

Johnathan Ashley Hall passed away at his home in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the age of 37. He is survived by his parents, James Fulton Hall and Theresa Rae Goodwin-Hall; his siblings, Theresa Ann Hall, James Michael Hall, and Christina Michelle Hall; niece, Ciara Bry'ann Outlaw; and god son Gabriel Parrish.

He attended Clay High School and continued on to achieve his AS degree in Nursing at Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2009. He was currently working as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville.

John had a talent for abstract art and painted regularly. He loved to write and recently completed a novel. He enjoyed antiquing, interior design, and found humor in B-rated horror films. He was an avid music lover and could really bust a move. John was also a huge fan of The Golden Girls. Unfortunately, he was cursed with being devastatingly beautiful like Blanche Devereaux.

John will be missed tremendously by everyone that knew him. Although he left this earth too soon, he still managed to leave his mark on a great deal of lives. He was a unique soul with many wonderful qualities that won't be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at Riverside United Church of Christ on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 3pm followed by a reception to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Suicide Awareness Voices of Education organization. A fund in his honor has been created at the following website.
