Steven James Crisler

Steven James Crisler, 60, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was born on December 23, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents; James Crisler, Jr. and Sarah Dobbs Crisler. A Samuel Wolfson High School Class of ’72 graduate, Steve enjoyed fishing, jazz music, NASCAR racing and was an avid fan and follower of the Florida Gators. Steve cherished doing things for and spending time with his family and adored his granddaughter, Izzy. His extended family and friends will always remember his infectious smile and laughter; as well as the love and support he showed to all who loved and knew him. Steve will be deeply missed by every person who had the privilege to know him and call him a friend. He was preceded in death by his father, James Crisler, Jr. and brother, Jeff Crisler. Steve leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Kathaleen; daughters, Rachel Ann and Kathryn (Katie) Reneé; granddaughter, Isabella (Izzy) Denese and mother, Sarah Crisler-Gurley. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 10am at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church in St Johns, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
