Karl Doughty

Karl Francis Doughtÿ of Jacksonville Florida passed away on December 7, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. He died at Mayo clinic peacefully with his family and friends by his side.

He was born to Francis Doughtÿ Jr.& Veronica Mary Marusak on November 30, 1965 in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He had just turned 50 a week before his passing.

He graduated high school and loved the water, so he had many jobs delivering boats, dockmasters, and was in the Coast Guard. 20 years ago he started working at Pete's bar as day manager where he had lots of friends who love him.

He attended Holiday Hill Baptist Church with his family, Shari & Christiana Doughtÿ. He loved going to fleamarkets, swap meets, was an avid fisherman and loved cars!

He will be remembered as a kind, caring, loving and giving man who never met a stranger. As his wife, we are soulmates and he will be loved by all who knew him forever.

Karl is survived by his wife, Shari Doughtÿ, and their daughter, Christiana. He was also accompanied by his parents Frank & Ronnie, his 2 daughters from his 1st marriage Katelyn & Haley, & his 5 grandchildren. He also had 3 siblings, Eric, Joanne, & Karen and also their children. His Aunt Bev, & her 2 daughters Patti & Janice.

Memorial service will be held at Holiday Hill Baptist Church (721-0721) on Saturday, February, 27th, 2016 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM , 730 Mandalay Road, Jax, Fl, 32216. Officiated by Rev. Albert Byrd.
