Patricia Lee Harrell

Patricia Lee Reese Harrell passed on to God January 4, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida.Sadly, Patricia succumb to complications from Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonia.She was born on September 30, 1955 in Denver Colorado. Patricia attended school in the Tampa area and worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida in Jacksonville for more than 20 years. She also worked for the Duval County School System as an interpreter for hearing impaired students, helping them to understand their lessons. While Patricia's faith did not lead her to a particular local church, she was a Christian and believed in the love and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Patricia loved crafting and being creative and she certainly enjoyed her “bling”. She enjoyed traveling and good times with her family and friends. Random children would approach her in stores and talk to her like they knew her, Pat's love was contagious and everyone felt it. Patricia was preceded by her father James Reese of Virginia, her mother Dorothy Belle Harmon of Kansas and sister Edith Margolis of Virginia. Patricia is succeeded by her husband, Daniel Harrell of Jacksonville, whom she married on May 16, 1992; son, Forrest Harrell of Jacksonville; sister, Virginia Bryant and nephew Thomas Reese of South Dakota.

Patricia cherished a poem her mother found from Mary Elizabeth Frye:

I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
