Mary Ruth Magnasco

Mary Ruth Magnasco, 91, passed away on September 6, 2015 in Orange Park, FL. Daughter of Marion and Zola McKay, Mary was born June 26, 1924 in Montgomery, Alabama where she was the oldest of five Brothers and Sisters. She also has four step-sisters. She was married in 1954 and lived in Pensacola, FL. with her husband Vincent. Mary was a secretary and bookkeeper for their family business as sub-contractors’ specializing in tile & terrazzo. She was an active member of Olive Baptist Church functions and was involved with the Boy Scouts of America helping with Den Mother duties for scouting merit badges. She also loved to travel and go on long camping
trips to the beach and Bluegrass Festivals with family and friends. After she and her husband retired they moved to Orange Park, FL. in the mid 90’s. She is survived by her Son Gary Magnasco, Daughter-in-law Laura Magnasco and Grandchildren Rachel & Jacob Magnasco.
Memorial services will be performed at Central Baptist Church at 942 Oak Lane, Orange Park, Florida on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
