Norma Louise Tagliabue Levy

Norma Levy, nee Tagliabue, beloved wife of the late Alfred Levy, died on August 20, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. The youngest of three girls, she was born to Olympia and Peter Tagliabue on July 09, 1930. She graduated from Pratt Institute and Hunter College with degrees in home economics and had a long career as a dietician. She was a longstanding, active member of Congregation Ahavath Chesed. A staunch supporter of Brandeis University, she was president of the local Brandeis Women’s Auxiliary for many years. She was active in many community organizations including Big Sisters. She loved learning, travel and culture. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, favorite aunt and steadfast friend. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Deborah Scott of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Christine, Scott and Samuel Martin, and the beloved children and grandchildren of her late sisters, Johanna and Olga. The memorial service to celebrate her life is at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at River Gardens Hebrew Home 11401 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL. 32258.
