Glenn “Skip” Ryan, Jr., 64, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his home. He was born September 16, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Glenn Ryan, Sr. and Margaret Kart Ryan. Skip graduated from Orange Park High School and worked as the South East Regional Coordinator for C.O.G.W.H. and Bellsouth retiring after 22 years of service. Skip received his Doctorate in Theology and served as an ordained minister and leader in the body of Christ. He founded River of Life Non-Denominational and perfected the Saints Bible College where he wrote the curriculum and built leaders and graduates. Skip led, ordained and planted ministries and churches throughout the southeastern United States as well as some foreign countries and very involved with Miriam’s Basket Charitable Organization that was close to his heart. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Skip was known for being a father to everyone. He was a kind husband, loving father and cherished grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sheilah McLane Ryan; three children, Kelley Ryan Butler, Glenn Ryan III and Tina Ryan Owens; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Emily, Jacob, Isabelle, Rylan and Rhett; his parents, Glenn and Margaret Ryan, Sr. and two sisters, Jane Langford and Ronda Jo Jefferson. Memorial services in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 16 College Dr, Orange Park, FL 32065. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor be made to River Of Life Inc, 2755-D County Road 220, Middleburg, FL 32068 towards a water-well for over seas missionaries @ http://gofundme.com/fz22vqms
