Beverly Jane Ratliff

Beverly Jane Ratliff, 85, of Jacksonville, was called home by the Lord on July 22, 2015. To all those who knew her, please remember her in your daily prayers. Bev was born on July 25, 1929 to Harry and Eloise Cook in Plymouth, Indiana and spent her early years in Indiana , her adult years in Omaha, Nebraska, and her retirement years in Arkansas and Florida. A loving wife and mother, she was married for 52 wonderful years to Donn B. Ratliff, who died in 2003. Bev is survived by her daughter Rhonda Barnett, her son David Ratliff (Sue), her daughter Ruth Pinder (Bob), six grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Bev was a longtime member of Mandarin Baptist Church and spent her working years with the American Baptist State Convention of Nebraska. A service celebrating Bev's life will be held at a later date in her hometown of Plymouth, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Bev's memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
