Julius Clifford Phillips, Jr., 84, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on May 8, 2015. He was born on May 26, 1930 in Royston, Georgia. He was the son of Julius Clifford Phillips, Sr. and Willie Lee Ray Phillips also of Royston, Georgia. He lived in Baker County for 16 years before moving to Jacksonville. He married the love of his life, Joann Nix on September 23, 1949. During their 60 year journey together, they had four daughters, Brenda Gale Anderson (Don), Teresa Yvonne Anderson, Denise Pauline Phillips (Clyde), and Sarah Lee Yourn (Shawn); one son, Jevis Randall Phillips (Nancy); 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, wife and sister, Bobbie Bryant (Milton). He is survived by all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, sister Pauline Williams of Seneca, South Carolina and sister-in-law Jennie Tucker (Ronnie) of Walhalla, South Carolina. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
