Van Christ Siavelis

Van C. Siavelis passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 from cancer. He was born on November 29, 1941 to Peter and Helen Siavelis in Chicago, IL, attended Steinmetz High School; and graduated in 1960, where he excelled in football and was co-captain and honorable mention All-State. He graduated from Loyola University and passed the CPA exam and received his CPA certificate in 1971. He worked for the CPA firm of Ernst and Young. He also worked for several corporations as accountant, auditor and controller of seven companies in the apparel group. He was headquartered in the Empire State Building in New York. He moved to Florida seven years ago. He is survived by his beloved wife, Billie Ann Siavelis. He was dearest father of Susan Sweeney and CaSandra Azmann; the cherished grandfather of Michael and Sophia Sweeney; loving brother of Michael Siavelis and preceded Steve and Phillip Siavelis; a fond uncle of Peter and Brandie Siavelis, Missy and Tony Jerfita, Steven and Juli Siavelis, Peter and Missy Siavelis, and Lynn Christos and many grand nephews and grand nieces.
