Rance Edward Perry

Mr. Rance Edward Perry, 46, passed away from cancer on Tuesday, March 4, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. Rance was born in Augusta, GA, the son of Raymond Louis Perry, Sr. and the late Betty June Hood Perry of Augusta, GA. He graduated from Augusta Tech in 1992 with a degree in computer graphic design and worked as an HVAC mechanic for over 20 years, both in Augusta and Jacksonville. He and his wife lived the past 11 years in Jacksonville, FL and he was attending Florida State College at Jacksonville studying for a Bachelor of Applied Science in computer systems networking and telecommunications. He was a loving husband who loved his family and his two dogs, Buddy and Chubbs. Family members include his wife: Laura Mahoney Perry of Augusta; father: Raymond L. Perry, Sr. of Augusta; brother: Michael Perry (Karen) of Hephzibah; sister: Sandra Francum (David) of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Raymond Perry and Steven Perry both of Augusta. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Community Hospice of NE Florida for their exceptional care. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Lisa Stine officiating.
