Theresa Jean Marie Bieneman

Theresa Jean Marie Bieneman (nee Burns) died October 28, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 63. Terry was born in Peoria, Illinois to parents Thomas Burns and Elizabeth Beeney, pre-deceased. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Dennis Bieneman of Jacksonville, FL; beloved daughter, Dr. Leslie Bjork and son-in-law, William Rajca of Lenexa, KS; beloved son, Bradley Thomas Bjork of Longview, TX; granddaughter, Mackenzie Bjork of Coral Springs, FL; four step-sons and nine step-grandchildren. Terry is also survived by former husband and good friends Robert and Cindi Bjork of Pine Mills, TX and friends Pat Rentschler, Kathy Shoemaker and Rosemary Kirts.

Terry was a powerful source of light, love, and compassion to all she met. She had a gift for connecting with and understanding people. She enjoyed new experiences, world travel, fine dining, football and card games, golf, music, sunny beaches, lake fishing, her Irish heritage and children. She was of the Catholic religion and like her favorite Saint, Francis of Assisi, she was passionate about animals and helping those in need. But most of all, Terry loved to relax and have fun in the company of close family and good friends.

Her family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Community Hospice’s Hadlow Center for Caring for Caring for comfort and support in her final days. In lieu of memorial contributions, Terry wishes for donations to be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation (www.komen.org) and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (800-805-5856). She asks for us not to mourn her death but to celebrate her life and spirit with joy.
